Pastor Ronnie is a husband, father, grandfather, author, master teacher, life coach and a recent retiree from the United States Air Force after 28 years of service.

Ronnie gave his life to the Lord at the early age of 8 and began preaching in his late teens.  He graduated high school from Maranatha Baptist Academy, received his undergraduate degree from Liberty University and post graduate from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary.  

Ordained at Wright Baptist Church, Ft Walton Beach Florida in 2015, he brings more than 20 years of unique perspective, breadth of experience and pastoral leadership to the ministry at Temple Baptist Church.  

Through different military assignments the Lord led Ronnie to serve in many different churches in Illinois, Florida, California, Mississippi and Tennessee. Each church brought new areas of service and different experiences to cultivate.

Most recently, he has served as an associate pastor at Wright Baptist Church, Ft Walton Beach Florida where he led the men’s ministry and launched a thriving small groups ministry. Prior to that at FBC O’Fallon Illinois he was the director men’s ministries, led an adult small group, taught discipleship university classes and was active in the church’s Upward Sports ministry. 

A gifted storyteller, Ronnie ignites hope in his audiences with authentic transparency and presence. His style makes you feel like you are sitting on a couch across the room from him, bouncing between tears and laughter. Having experienced both the best and worst of life, he’s unafraid to reveal his personal flaws, shortcomings and dreams so that you know you’re not alone. 

Ronnie is married to the love of his life Carrie who is from Granite City, Illinois. They have two wonderful sons and daughter-in-laws they are extremely proud of and two precious grandsons which they cannot get enough of. They own a home in downtown Centralia and look forward to what God has in store in the Centralia community.
